    Evaluation

    Starting with the theme of Word and metaphors was getting me nowhere for the brand of the show. Until I developed an idea of recipes, design recipes as in what things are needed for graduates to pass the subject.  I decided to explore that idea, using words that are used in food recipes examples; pinch, dash, grams, sprinkles etc… Words I found suited well with the design words examples; doodles, inspiration, creativity etc… My logo is different than any other logos, its much larger but it worked well with my theme of recipes. After during many experiments and development on posters, I finalised my best one, it’s used a lot of white space positivity. Family and Friends Night Flyers and Industry Night Flyers are much similar to my poster; they too used their white space positive. I kept the typeface used same in all my designs. In this project, I enjoyed working with the white space and lay outing of the designs. I’m very happy with my final designs but if I had more time to work on it, I would like to work on type and text layouts.
